Master Jang Sun-Jae is one of few tea masters in Korea that still hand fries green tea to order. This traditional roasting method ensures that every nuance of the tea can be denoted in the flavor.

Product Description
Juklim’s tea is 100% certified organic. Sejak literally means “thin sparrow,” depicting the thin, tender tea leaves akin to a sparrow’s tongue.
Sejak tea is harvested between “gogu (穀雨)” 20 April and “Ipha (立夏)” 5 - 6 May terms on the solar calendar. In other words, the year’s yield depends on the two-week period.
Sejak has bright, soft, and sweet flavor notes. Every leaf is hand-picked and hand-fried at the appropriate temperature.
As a winemaker tends his vintage with much care, tea masters control the temperature and timing at which the leaves are roasted to produce the softest flavors.
How to Enjoy
With a bright, clean flavor profile, Sejak is a beloved green tea widely enjoyed by tea lovers of all ages in Korea.
Be sure to steep the tea at a lower temperature, even down to 60˚C to draw out the subtlest notes of flavor.
The refreshing green tea is also enjoyed cold. Add one tablespoon of loose tea leaves to every 1 liter of water and leave it in the fridge for a cold brew.
