Master Jang Sun-Jae is one of few tea masters in Korea that still hand fries green tea to order. This traditional roasting method ensures that every nuance of the tea can be denoted in the flavor.

Product Description
Juklim’s tea is 100% certified organic. Mihong is Juklim tea’s take on the widely beloved Oolong tea. It’s also called Cheongcha in Korean, or Blue Tea, reminiscent of its leaves’ blueish color when dry.
Unlike the Chinese and Taiwanese counterparts, Korean oolong is twisted, rather than rolled, when processed. The oxidized tea boasts a beautiful hue when steeped.
Master Jang harvests slightly larger tea leaves from “Ipha (立夏)” 6 May for two weeks. Specifically, the leaves harvested in this period are used to partially-oxidize Mihong for the rich flavors.
Mihong is similar to oolong in many ways. However, like all of Juklim’s teas, it has a softer profile for anyone that wishes to enjoy subtle tea.
Every leaf is hand-picked and roasted in the plantation. As a winemaker tends his vintage with much care, tea masters control the temperature and timing at which the leaves are roasted to produce the softest flavors.
How to Enjoy
Look for the golden amber color in your tea, but avoid over-steeping as the tea could become bitter!
Steep the tea at a warmer temperature of 80 - 90˚C to draw out the color and clean flavors for less than 2 minutes each pot.
The loose full-leaf Mihong will become your favorite go-to afternoon tea in no time.
